Cherise G. Moore, Ph.D., is a principal TA consultant in the Human Services Division at American Institutes for Research (AIR). Her primary responsibilities include a focus on equity, access, leadership and continuous improvement efforts in adult learning and career pathways. Dr. Moore has led several national projects, and is currently serving as the Project Director for OCTAE’s LINCS (lincs.ed.gov) and Teaching Skills That Matter in Adult Education (TSTM). She also works on the CALPRO project, where she coordinates the Leadership Institute, a professional development opportunity for new and aspiring administrators. She has extensive experience in adult learning, career technical education and diversity, equity and inclusion matters. Previously, Moore served as a district level administrator, a secondary site principal in California and Arizona and as a secondary and elementary teacher. Moore holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and her M.A. in Educational Administration and Leadership from Arizona State University. She also received a M.A. in Urban Planning and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She currently serves as an elected School Board Member for the William S. Hart Union High School District, where she continues her focus of ensuring educational excellence, equity, inclusion and access for over 22,000 students and staff members.
