About me
Tess Johnson has dedicated her entire professional career to the field of education, driven by a deep passion and calling to support the children in our community. With a wealth of experience spanning various roles, Tess has served as an elementary, middle school, and high school teacher, an assistant principal, a middle school and elementary school principal, Curriculum Coordinator and the Director of Student Services in the Dublin Unified School District.
She has had the unique opportunity to be the opening principal of three new schools: Bay Farm School in the Alameda Unified School District, Dublin Elementary in the Dublin Unified School District, and Fallon Middle School in the Dublin Unified School District.
Additionally, Tess has served as the first Director of Student Services in the Dublin Unified School District, where she took on the formidable task of developing and leading the student services department. Under her visionary leadership, this department has flourished, providing critical support and resources that have significantly enhanced the educational experiences and outcomes for countless students.
Currently, Tess is an educational consultant and ACSA leadership coach. Through her extensive work in education, Tess understands that supporting our most innocent voices requires a global perspective she serves as the Executive Director for Innocent Voices and non-profit global organization dedicated to giving voice and support to our most vulnerable children
